Logs before disabling defender: 19:52:44,447 INFO - #c.i.w.f.WslFsdServer - fsd standard output received: C:\WINDOWS\system32\wsl.exe I have the exact same problem, and can confirm turning off Defender takes care of it, but really don't consider that a solution. Same log segments I posted on that thread. I am having the same problem and can confirm turning off Defender addresses it.
